Yu is a personal cognitive reflection tool. We take the sensitivity of that data seriously. This page describes what we collect and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Account info: email, name, and password (hashed).
- Reflection content: answers, activity responses, and generated artifacts you create in Yu.
- Basic usage data needed to run the service.
How we use it
Your reflections power the personalized features inside your own account. We use anonymized, aggregate signals to improve the product during the pilot. We do not sell your data.
AI processing
To generate reflections, mirrors, and avatars, portions of your input are sent to AI model providers under contract. They process it to return a response and do not train on it.
Your controls
You can request export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Deletion removes your account and associated reflection content.
