Model differences

Models start differently. You should not have to.

Model behaviour varies, and it will keep varying. The answer is not to find the perfect model. It is to stop rebuilding yourself every time you switch.

What actually varies

Different defaults
One model hedges, another commits. One writes long, another strips detail out.
Different reading of the same words
The same request can be treated as a question, a task, or an invitation to advise.
Different memory of the situation
Whatever a tool does or does not retain, the situation still has to arrive somehow.
Different tomorrow
Versions change without warning. What you were relying on can quietly shift.

Why that matters for you

If the situation lives only inside one conversation, every switch costs you the same explanation again. If the situation is written down, reviewed, and approved by you, the starting point stops depending on which tool you opened.

That is where Yu sits. It holds the reviewed context you chose to keep, so what persists is yours rather than the tool's. The model changes. Your Yu persists.

Being straight about today

Today the handoff is manual on purpose. You copy the instructions you approved into the AI you use, and you can read every word before it goes anywhere. There is no automatic link to other tools, and we do not claim one.

We do not rank models or claim one performs better than another. Which one suits you is your call, and it gets easier once you understand what you are asking for.

Build the context once.

Review it, approve it, and take it with you into whichever tool you open next.
